Webinse Barcode generation and management extension for Magento 2 is created for that purpose, and is easy to install and configure.
It lets you to create your own barcodes, print them out and always quickly find the product among the rest. Also you can create a barcode design and choose a barcode format among almost 30 types. The created barcodes for products can be included in invoices when purchasing these products, so you can always quickly find the purchased product in your catalog.
The extension allows you to export all the barcodes you have created into one file. In this way, you can transfer them from one store to another and import it without having to recreate them again.

How to Configure?
Log in to the admin panel, and we will show you how to configure the extension step by step. To configure basic settings, go to Webinse -> Barcode generation and management -> Configuration (or Stores -> Configuration -> Webinse -> Barcode generation and management) on your Dashboard. Here you can set up basic barcode settings, such as foreground and background colors and its height.
How does it work?
All you need is to install the extension and all the necessary functionality will be automatically added and ready for use. Go to the Barcode Generator page (Webinse -> Barcode generation and management -> Barcode Generator) and click on Create New Barcode button.

After that, fill in the product data and click on Save Barcode button.

Also, you can create a barcode for existing products. Go to the Products -> Catalog and then in the list of available actions, select “Generate Barcode” action. After that all of data will be automatically added to the form fields. You will only have to choose the type and format of the barcode.

View Barcode
You can view information about all created barcodes. To do this, on the “List of generated barcodes” page (Webinse -> Barcode generation and management -> Barcode Generator), select the View action opposite the product.

Print Barcode
On the view page, you can print the generated barcodes. Click on “Print Barcode” button, choose quantity of barcode labels that will be printed and click “OK”. You will get PDF file with barcodes.

Also you can print barcodes from Products -> Catalog page. It is available from the action group, opposite each product.

Scan Barcodes
You can find each one of generated barcodes by barcode number on the “Scan Barcodes” page. Simply enter the barcode number in the appropriate field and click on the Search button. This page provides all information about barcode and product that associated with this barcode if it was found.

Import and export barcodes
All generated barcodes can be export and save to a CSV file. On the “List of generated barcodes” page (Webinse -> Barcode generation and management -> Barcode Generator) select all necessary barcodes and then in the Grid actions block choose export action. After that a CSV file will be created and browser “Save File” dialog window suggest the path by which the file will be saved.

The CSV files are easy to store and could be transferred to another store or imported to this store again. To import data go to the “List of generated barcodes” page and click on the “Import Barcodes” button. Form page for import will be opened. Upload exist CSV file with barcode data and click on the “Import” button.
All the data from file will be added to the database and you can check it on the “List of generated barcodes” page.

Include barcodes in an invoice
The Barcode generation and management extension has a function that you can use to add barcodes to invoices for easier find them in the product table for example. First you need to make sure that this function is active. Go to the extension configuration and check value opposite “Enable barcodes in the invoice” field. It must be “Yes”.

After that you can print invoices with barcodes, if they exist for these products.

History of generated barcodes
After generating the barcode, a record of it is placed in the history table. Thus, you can always know by whom and when the barcode was created. Go to Webinse -> Barcode generation and management -> History of created barcodes page.
